Aurore Beauchesne Obituary (2005)

Aurore Beauchesne, 83, a former resident of the Sunset Tower in Sanford, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Kennebunk Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kennebunk.Mrs. Beauchesne was born in Sanford on October 5, 1922 to Sinai and Desneige Hamel Beauchesne. She was formerly employed at Kesselin Shoe Shop in Kennebunk and Universal Shoe Company and Eastern Plastics, both in Sanford. Aurore enjoyed taking the bus in Sanford and going down to Bonanza where she liked eat. She also enjoyed walking over to Dunkin Donuts in the morning and getting a cup of coffee. Mrs. Beauchesne was an avid beano player, she loved going to the beano hall with her niece, Jeanette, and they always had a wonderful time. Aurore was a very kind person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Surviving are two sisters, Rita Jarest and her husband Eddie, of Milford, New Hampshire and Lillian Morin of Santa Anna, California; two nieces, Jeanette Doiron and her husband Ray of Sanford and Pauline Butler and her husband Eddie of Sanford and a nephew, Donald Jalbert and his wife Doris of Sanford. A period of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home located at 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
