Jerry W. Bucchio, 71, of Sanford, died at his home on Sunday. May 15, 2022.\nJerry was born on March 21, 1951 to the late Emilio and Marion Louise (Beyea) Bucchio, and was raised in Tewksbury.\nJerry leaves behind a large family including his son Thomas Bucchio, a grandson, Braydon Bennett, step-children Teresa (Tammy) Metras and William (Bill) Metras and his wife Sharon, siblings Eric, Philip and Emil "Mimi" Bucchio, Emily Vielicka, Averill Waterhouse, Janice Abbott; late brothers Charles, Edwin, Daniel Robbins, Joseph Bucchio, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry is also predeceased by his former wife and friend, Theresa (Terry) Bucchio.\nJerry was a hockey and baseball enthusiast. In his younger years he played on many teams and shared his love of these sports with both Billy and Tom. Jerry was also an avid fisherman. So much so that he turned his love of this sport into a family outing. Jerry also loved music and playing his guitar for friends and family.\nAt Jerry's request, there will be no services.\nIf you would like to make a donation in his name, you may do so to the American Heart Association.
